Airport High School proudly recognizes our JROTC on their recent JPA Accreditation Inspection. They received a 98 out of 100. Congratulations to our outstanding cadets.
The Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting on June 18, starting at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Prior to that, from 5;30 p.m.-6 p.m., a public hearing will be held on the proposed 2026-2027 General Fund Budget. District residents and taxpayers may sign up before the meeting and hearing to speak during public participation, in accordance with Policy BEDH. The the 2026 Educator Hall of Fame & Distinguished Alumni Gala, presented by the Airport High School Education Foundation, is set for Tuesday, April 28. Three individuals will be inducted: CSM Harry Ferguson, Dr. Kimberly Green, and Mr. Jeffrey Jones. Email Lola Richbourg for ticket information at lrich@lex2.org. Lexington Two’s annual District Art Show, featuring student work from all of our schools, will run weekdays through March 26, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. There are sketches, paintings, ceramics, and more. The show is free. Enter on the district office side.
Congratulations to our JROTC Drill Team. They competed at the 4th Brigade Best of the Best Drill Competition this past weekend in North Carolina. Out of 7 states, our drill team placed overall 3rd, earning them at trip to the US National Drill Team Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Eagle Boutique provides students with formal and event wear at no cost, helping ensure every student has the opportunity to feel confident and included at school events. From dresses and suits to accessories, our goal is to remove financial barriers so all students can participate and make lasting memories. We are currently accepting donations of gently used formal wear, shoes, and accessories to help keep our boutique stocked for future events. Your donations can make a meaningful difference in a student’s experience. Thank you for supporting the Eagle Boutique and helping our students shine!

Everyone loves a bargain, and this one helps students in the Barbering program at the Lexington Two Innovation Center earn required hours for licensing.
